Coffee Loving with Skipping Stones Designs

No automatic alt text available.

Yum - Coffee!!!

Yes, You can say I am a coffee lover. Since, the age of 6 I have been drinking coffee. Some of the best conversations have been with a cup of coffee in my hand. So, this hop is just perfect.

I created this card using Coffee Volume # 2 which can be found in the Skipping Stones Design Store I kept it simple for this card.

I stamped the image of the to go cup with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers. The coffee ring and bean I used colorbox Chocolate brown ink. I then used a postage stamp frame die for my background from cream and kraft cardstock. Then, I layered it onto coffee brown cardstock base.

 Close-up of the card.

Side views of the card so you can see the crane and the little jumping fish.

For my next card I used Besties Twinkle Toes Troll - I created a layered card. I did a technique call Distress Oxide Ink water stamping that Jennifer Mcguire showed on her blog and on her YouTube Channel  Jennifer Mcguire Ink recent for my background.

Changed the lighting so you can see the background better.

Today, I am sharing a mermaid card. It seems that everywhere you look these day you can find a mermaid. I thought they where hard to find - you needed to be at sea for many days. lol

So, here is a little about my mermaid. I used a Recollections stamp by Michaels. I colored her with Copic Markers, I then added highlights with a  white Gelly Roll pen. Then I added some twinkle with a Zig Wink of Stella pen in Clear Glitter. For the background I use Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads  and the stencil that cam with the stamp set.

I then stamped the fish, star fish, sand dollars, coral and seashell with various distress inks and Stampin' Up ink. I use Stampin' Up Dapper Denim ink for the sentiment and tiny bubbles.

Finished it off with some Zig Wink of Stella and tiny star sequins.

Thanks for stopping by. If you create a mermaid project of your won leave me a link I would love to see it.

I am sharing today a card I made. I did this one on a navy cardstock panel. I used gray ink to create the clouds and some of the smoke by the fire. I this stamped and colored with Distress markers the images. I then busted out the Ranger Stickles and add it to the campfire. Lots of little & extra small star sequins. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it. Punched a banner using my Stampin' Up punch. Finally did some iridescent white paint splatters to create the night sky.
